A man has been arrested in connection with a shooting last week in Fairview.
On April 14 at 1:25 pm, police responded to a shooting at a business on Titus Street. Officers located a 41-year-old man at the scene suffering from a gun shot injury and he was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. A second man, 23, arrived at the hospital a short time later with a gun shot injury that is believed to have occurred at the Titus Street location. This was not a random incident and investigators believe that the 23-year-old man was the intended target, however, the 41-year old man was an innocent bystander.
Today at approximately 12:30 p.m., Patrol and Community Response Officers arrested an 18-year-old man without incident at an Albro Lake Road address. He is currently in custody and expected to appear in Halifax Provincial Court tomorrow to face charges in connection with the shooting.
