Man Charged with Robbery

Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section have charged a man in relation to a robbery that occurred last month in Dartmouth.

On March 21, at 6:20 p.m., officers responded to the Metro Transit Bridge Terminal located at 24 Nantucket Avenue for a report of a robbery. A 16-year-old male youth was assaulted and robbed of his cell phone by two other males. A 17-year-old male youth from Dartmouth was arrested later that day and charged with robbery and breach of undertaking.

On April 13, 21-year-old Justin Michael Wambolt of Dartmouth was arrested at his residence in connection with this robbery. He was remanded to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today. He is facing charges of robbery and breach of probation.
