Man charged with trespassing at night

Halifax Regional Police has charged a man with trespassing at night after an incident last night in Halifax.

 At 9:25 p.m., police responded to a call from a security officer working for University of King’s College regarding a man who was alleged to be looking in the windows of a dormitory on the campus located at 6350 Coburg Road. After security confronted the man, he fled on foot. Officers were able to locate the suspect walking on Oxford Street and arrested him without incident.

Thirty-six-year old Richard Kidson from Chezettcook remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face a charge of trespassing at night.
