A man faces charges in connection with an incident that took place on a Metro Transit bus yesterday in Dartmouth.

At 3:46 p.m., police responded to a call at the Metro Transit bus terminal at 110 Wyse Road in Dartmouth. Two men on a bus got into an argument and one of them discharged a sensory irritant. Nine people had to be treated by EHS at the scene. The suspect fled on foot but was arrested a short time later at Alderney Landing. A search of the suspect resulted in officers seizing a can of sensory irritant.
