The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that Market Street will be closed on Monday and Tuesday between Sackville and Blowers streets.
Crews will be on site each day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. installing lateral services to the new Dillon condominium project. There will be a full street closure while work is underway, but local traffic and emergency vehicles will have access at all times. Cambridge Suites guests will also have full access to the hotel parking garage.
Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes, if possible.
Access to all local businesses will be maintained at all times. Sidewalks will remain open during the closure.
