Monday, May 15, 2017 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that underground services will be installed this week on Market Street, between Blowers and Sackville streets.
Crews will be on site each day from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Work is expected to conclude on Friday.
A full street closure will be in effect while work is underway. Traffic safety personnel will direct motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists around the worksite, as needed. Access to local businesses will be maintained at all times. Sidewalks will remain open during the closures.
Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to take alternative routes whenever possible.
The municipality appreciates your patience while this work is underway.
