Missing Person - Police Seek Public’s Help

A youth who was reported missing earlier this week has been located safe and sound.

Fourteen-year-old Ashley Coggins-Comeau was reported missing on January 8. She was located unharmed this morning in Yarmouth.

Halifax Regional Police thanks the media and the public for their concern and assistance in this matter.

Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated Vice Unit are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Dartmouth youth. 

Fourteen-year-old Ashley Coggins-Comeau was last seen at 3 p.m. on January 8 after she left her Pleasant Street residence. She is described as a white female, 5’, 115 lbs., thin build, with blue eyes and long dark brown hair with the left side shaved. She also has three skull tattoos on her left arm. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue shirt, jeans and black studded boots. 

There is no evidence to suggest that Ashley has met with foul play but there is concern for her well-being. Officers request that Ashley or anyone with information on her whereabouts calls police at 490-5016.
