The HRP/RCMP Integrated Vice Unit is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Dartmouth woman who is travelling with her child.

Eighteen-year-old Kyla Rae Benoit and her 16-month-old daughter were reported missing to police on April 9 and were last seen on the morning of April 6 in Dartmouth.

Kyla is described as a white woman, 5’8”, 115 lbs. with a thin build and long reddish brown hair. She has a tattoo of the name “Abdoul” with a heart on her wrist, and has her ears and bottom lip pierced. Her child is described as a medium-complected white female, 25 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. There is no clothing description available for either of them. Police have received information that Kyla may be interested in travelling outside of the province with her daughter.

There is no information to suggest that Kyla and her daughter have met with foul play; however, police are concerned for their well-being. Officers request that Kyla, or anyone with information on her and her daughter’s whereabouts, contacts police at (902) 490-5016.
