Update - Missing youth Located                                                             

Jamelyn Dobbin was located safe and sound after she returned to her Lower Sackville residence this morning(Dec 15).

We thank the media and the public for their assistance in relation to this matter.

 Investigators with the Vice Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Divisionare seeking the public’s help locating a missing Lower Sackville youth.

Thirteen-year-old Jamelyn Dobbin was last seen after she left a friend’s residence in the 2400 block of Robie Street at 7 p.m. last night. She left on foot and was supposed to take a Halifax Transit bus home to Lower Sackville. She did not arrive at her Skyridge Avenue residence and she was reported missing to police around midnight.

Jamelyn is described as a white female, 5’4”, 110 lbs., with long blonde hair with pink highlights and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a purple “Eastcoast Lifestyle” hoodie, black tights, black and pink “Air Jordan” sneakers, black touque with “Kush” written on the front and carrying a black backpack.  

There is no information to suggest that Jamelyn has met with foul play. However, police are concerned for her well-being. Officers request that Jamelyn or anyone with information on her whereabouts calls Halifax Regional Police at (902) 490-5020.
