Mother Nature's at it again. Please adjust your driving habits in light of this afternoon's snowfall.
-Allow extra space between your vehicle and the one ahead of you. This will help accommodate the fact that a vehicle's stopping distance increases when the roads are slippery.
-When approaching a red light or stop sign, begin stopping earlier to help prevent sliding into the intersection.
-Motorists and pedestrians, look out for one another as visibility may also be an issue. Motorists are asked to watch for pedestrians and other vehicles. Pedestrians are reminded to make eye contact with drivers and wait until the vehicle comes to a complete stop before attempting to cross the road.
