Shortly after midnight this morning, Central Division patrol officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles on Barrington Street under the MacDonald Bridge. Upon arrival, officers noted two heavily damaged vehicles and a light standard had been knocked over. One of the vehicles had five occupants, in which a 24-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were transported to hospital with minor injuries. The second vehicle was being driven by a 59-year-old man who declined medical attention. The incident remains under investigation and no charges have been laid at this time.
