Motor vehicle collision

At 5:39 p.m. on Saturday, August 10 police responded to the 3800 block of Barrington Street for a report of a head-on vehicle collision.

A car heading south downtown, driven by a 25-year-old woman, crossed the centre line and collided head-on with another car heading north, driven by a 16-year-old male with a 46-year-old male passenger.  

All occupants were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Barrington Street was closed between Africville Road and Glebe Street until 7 p.m. 

The 25-year-old Truro woman was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for driving to the left of the centre line when approaching a curve with less than 150 m of visibility.
