On January 20, at 5:30 p.m. HRP officers responded to a motor vehicle collision which occurred on the Old Sambro Road at West Pennant Road. Officers reported that the accident involved two vehicles, one travelling South on Old Sambro Road at West Pennant Road and the second travelling North on Old Sambro Road passing through the intersection at West Pennant Road. The Northbound vehicle veered into the South bound lane and a collision resulted. The drivers of both vehicles were taken to the QE2 hospital for precautionary but non-life threatening injuries and the matter is still under investigation
