Police arrest suspects related to recent robberies

On October 26 officers with the General Investigative Section, East Division Quick Response Unit and East Division Patrol located the suspect in a robbery of the Petro Canada at 610 Portland Street in Dartmouth that occurred October 25.  The suspect was taken into custody without incident.  While searching an address they were able to locate a woman who had assisted in the robbery.  She was taken into custody.  After further investigation it was determined that the male suspect from this robbery is also the suspect in the robbery at Sobeys Fast Fuels, 543 Portland Street, on Oct 10 and the robbery at Needs Convenience Store, 275 Baker Drive, on Oct 11.  A 21 year man will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today charged with three counts of robbery, three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, three counts of breach of undertaking and one count of uttering a death threat. Also, a 45 year old woman will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today charged with the robbery at Sobeys Fast Fuels and Needs Convenience.
