Police have charged a man for a robbery that occurred in Halifax last night.
At approximately 10 p.m. police responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Bishop's Cellar located at 1477 Lower Water Street. A man entered the establishment and announced he had a firearm, however, no firearm was seen. The man left empty-handed and fled the area on foot.
Officers arrested the suspect a short distance from the establishment. No staff members or members of the public where injured during the incident.
Wayne Nettleton, 46, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face charges of robbery.
