Police charge three men in relation to assault in Halifax last year.

Police have charged three men in relation to an assault that occurred in Halifax last November.

At approximately 2:30 a.m., on November 16, 2019 Halifax Regional Police responded to an assault that had occurred near the intersection of Grafton and Prince streets in Halifax. A 29-year-old man from Halifax was assaulted by a group men.  The victim was taken to the hospital with what was believed to be life-threatening injuries at the time.

Through the investigation, investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division were identified the men responsible for the assault. Yesterday, along with assistance from the Fredericton Police Street Crime Unit investigators arrested the men at three different location in Fredericton, New Brunswick.  The men have been brought back to Halifax to face the charges.

Cody Brian MacLean Gallie, 25, Connor Derek Hunter, 25, Dylan Jake Wolters, 22, all of Fredericton have been charged with aggravated assault and are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today.
