Police Continue to Investigate Murder of James Wareham

Tomorrow is the first anniversary of the murder of James George Wareham and investigators in the Halifax Regional Police/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit continue to investigate the case.

On May 23, 2011 at 11:15 p.m., officers responded to an apartment in the 0-100 block of Primrose Street in Dartmouth after receiving a call that a man had been stabbed. Upon arrival, the officers located Mr. Wareham suffering from a stab wound. He was rushed to hospital where he passed away. Based on the investigation, it is believed that a man known to the victim attended the apartment where an argument ensued which led to the stabbing.
