Police continue to investigate murder of Kaylin Diggs

Today marks the second anniversary of the murder of Kaylin Diggs and investigators with the Integrated Major Crime Unit of the Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate the case.

On August 11, 2012 at 3:49 a.m., police responded to a disturbance in the area of Argyle and Sackville Streets. Responding officers located 26-year-old Kaylin Diggs lying on the ground and unresponsive. He was transported to hospital where he passed away a short time later. The investigation determined that Kaylin was walking southbound on Argyle Street when an altercation took place and he was assaulted and knocked to the ground.

Investigators believe there are individuals who have information that could result in an arrest and possible charges and urge them to come forward to speak with police. Anyone with information about this unsolved homicide is asked to contact the Integrated Major Crime Unit at 902-490-5333.
