Police investigate bomb threat

Halifax Regional Police is currently on scene investigating a bomb threat in Halifax. 

At approximately 12:19 p.m., police received a call from a staff member at Park West School located at 206 Langbrae Drive for a bomb threat after the school received a threatening phone call from an anonymous person. Officers are on scene and searching the area with the assistance of the K-9 Unit. The school has been evacuated as a precaution and police ask people to avoid this area until further notice.

The investigation into this matter is continuing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020.
