Police investigate bomb threat GO#2019-107969

On July 30 at 3:41 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to the Nova Scotia Hospital at 300 Pleasant Street, Dartmouth for a bomb threat after a threatening phone call was received from an anonymous caller. As a precaution the hospital was evacuated and officers temporarily closed down Pleasant Street in-front of the hospital. Officers with the assistance of K9 Unit searched the building and nothing suspicious was located.

All evacuated personnel and patients have now returned to the building and Pleasant Street has been opened to traffic. There were no injuries reported.
