Police investigate personal watercraft collision GO#20-72583

On June 26 at 7:17 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a 911 call reporting two personal watercraft colliding on Halifax Harbour near the MacDonald Bridge. A 15-year-old youth operating one of the watercrafts sustained serious life-threatening injuries. 

The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax was notified, and vessels were dispatched to assist. Another personal watercraft rescued the injured youth, bringing him to Emergency Health Services Paramedics on the Dartmouth Waterfront. He was then transported to the Hospital.

It is unknown at this time if any charges are pending, the investigation is in the early stages and is ongoing.
