On November 16, at 5:40 pm, Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at Robyn's Dairy Bar located at 6169 Quinpool Road in Halifax. A man entered the store and demanded cash from the 26-year-old male employee. The man then punched the employee in the face, smashed the cash register and took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving on foot.
The employee was assessed and treated at the scene by EHS for minor injuries.
At 8:30 pm the suspect, a 34-year-old man was arrested without incident, He is currently in police custody and will be facing robbery charges.
