Police investigate robbery

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred last night in Halifax.

At approximately 12:15 a.m. officers responded to a robbery in the 0-100 block of Sylvia Avenue. Three men and two women approached a 15-year-old male youth as he was walking in the area. One of the men struck the victim, and along with one of the other men, took the victim’s wallet and book bag. The two suspects fled the area on foot and responding officers were unable to locate them.   

The first suspect is described as a white man in his late teens with a thin build and short dark brown hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a grey zipped-up sweater with a collar and grey sweatpants.

The second suspect is described as a white man in his late teens with short curly brown hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black winter style puffy jacket and grey sweat pants.
