Police investigate robbery with firearm GO#21- 155623

On December 16 just after 1 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery in the area of Russell Street and Isleville Street, Halifax. A man produced a firearm and attempted to rob the cab driver he had gotten a drive with.

The suspect was located a short time later in the 5600 block of Russell Street and was arrested without incident. The matter is still under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division- General Investigation Section.
