Police investigate robbery GO# 21-120420

On October 1 at approximately 1 p.m., a man entered the Irving Circle K store located at 2499 Robie Street in Halifax. The suspect was seen acting suspiciously by staff and moments later went behind the counter and demanded the clerk fill a bag full of cigarettes. The suspect had a needle in his hand and threatened to harm the clerk if he did not comply. There were no injuries to staff reported at the time.

Patrol officers conducted an extensive search and preliminary investigation, but the suspect has not been located at this time.

The suspect is described to police as being a white man, between 25-35-years-old, with facial hair, standing at approximately 5’6” tall, weighing about 150 lbs, wearing a dark coloured sweater and red shirt.
