Police investigate robbery GO# 21-131729

Investigators with the Halifax Regional Police Service Patrol Division are investigating a robbery that occurred this evening in Bedford.

On October 23, 2021, at approximately 10 p.m., a man entered the Petro Canada Service Station located at 1611 Bedford Highway, Bedford. The suspect demanded cash and stated that he had a firearm, although it was not observed. The suspect was last seen leaving the area on foot, heading towards the Shoppers Drug Mart. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident. Small amount of cash taken.

The suspect is described to police as being a white man who is believed to be in his 20’s, who stands at an average height and was wearing a hat, long shorts and a hoodie.  

Patrol officers, with the assistance of K9 officer, conducted an extensive search during preliminary investigation, however suspect has not been located at this time.
