Police investigate stabbing GO#20-24732

On February 22 at approximately 3 a.m., Halifax Regional Police received a 911 call from a witness who reported observing a man in the area holding a knife.

Two men were in an argument near True North Crescent and Highfield Park Drive, Dartmouth.

When police started looking for the two men they located a 26-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound to his neck. Police believe this is related to the original call. The man was transported to hospital for treatment. The suspect has not been located. The suspect and victim are believed to be known to one another.  

The investigation is continuing, and a detailed description of the suspect is not yet available.
