On October 2 at 12:52 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to the Wilsons Gar Bar located at 289 Herring Cove Road, Halifax for a commercial alarm.
It was quickly determined a Break and Enter had occurred. Damage was done to the business, but nothing was stolen.
There was a short delay in police receiving the alarm report, during that time, a second alarm was activated, with police called at 1:02 a.m. to nearby 315 Herring Cove Road, which is a Shopper’s Drug Mart. It was determined that an amount of medications had been stolen.
From initial review of the information and video, it appears the suspect could be involved in both Break and Enters and the earlier Robbery at 7151 Chebucto Road as well. That aspect is being investigated.
A K-9 track was completed but did not locate a suspect.
Investigators are working on scene at the locations gathering evidence.
