Halifax Regional Police is investigating two indecent acts that occurred last evening in Dartmouth.

At 5:05 p.m. a woman was getting groceries out of the trunk of her car in the 0-100 block of Wentworth Street when a man slowly walked by and exposed himself. After doing so, the man stopped and turned around about 10 metres away, and then started to walk back towards the victim when she walked away and called police.  The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 25-30 years old, bald, 5’10”, 170 pounds, clean-shaven and wearing a black ¾-length trench coat, black sweat pants and black toque. The man was also carrying a red knapsack with beige straps.

At 5:44 p.m., two women parked their car and were walking on Queen Street to go towards Alderney Drive. The women noticed a white man, wearing a blue jacket, dark pants and a red stocking cap, walking up and down the sidewalk. The women went to a nearby restaurant and they observed the same man looking in the window. When the women left the restaurant, they again saw the man around the corner and he started to follow them. When they returned to their car, the man stopped in front of them and exposed himself.

Investigators are exploring whether these two incidents are connected. Police are asking anyone with information about these incidents to contact police at 902-490-5016.
