Police Investigating Shooting (UPDATE)

Officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section continue to investigate a shooting that occurred yesterday in Halifax.

At 2:57 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the 2100 block of Brunswick Street. A preliminary investigation revealed that two suspects fired multiples shots at each other in the area. At this time, there are no reported injuries and it is not believed to be a random incident. Investigators are looking for the following suspects in this incident:

Suspect 1: Black man, mid to late twenties, 5’9”, with a thin build. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light grey hoodie, black scarf covering his face, black puffy vest and light blue jeans. He fled the area on foot, northbound on Barrington Street.

Suspect 2: Light skinned black man, early twenties, wearing a black skull cap and grey sweat pants. He fled the area on foot, northbound on Brunswick Street.
