HRM Partners in Policing are issuing a new Wanted List in an attempt to catch people with outstanding arrest warrants.

The HRP/RCMP Integrated High-Risk Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) is responsible for executing warrants within HRM as well as other areas, and facilitates requests from Parole and Probation Services. Every few months, the team is creating a new Wanted List made up of people with outstanding arrest warrants whom police have been unable to locate. Whether the people turn themselves in, or we receive information on their whereabouts from the public, the goal is to locate and arrest each person on the list.

The last list consisted of ten people, seven of whom were arrested. Investigators believe the remaining three people are living outside of our jurisdiction. Police would like to thank everyone who provided information in relation to the individuals on that list.

The new list is available on the Internet at www.halifax.ca/police/HeatList. A release will be issued and the Internet will be updated when a person on the list is arrested.

HRM Partners in Policing remind citizens not to approach these individuals or try to take matters into their own hands. Anyone with information regarding the people on this list is asked to contact police at (902) 490-5016 (Halifax Regional Police) or (902) 244-7208 (Halifax District RCMP), or online at https://www.halifax.ca/police/NonDispatch. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or texting a tip - Tip 202 + your message to 274637.
