Police release photos of possible sexual assault/indecent acts suspect

Members of the Sexual Assault Investigative Team of the Integrated Criminal Investigative Division are seeking the public’s assistance identifying the suspect believed to be responsible for four indecent acts and a sexual assault that occurred on December 4, 2015 in Halifax’s South End.

A synopsis of the incidents is a follows;

At approximately 1:30 p.m., a man followed a woman walking in the area of Lucknow and Fenwick Streets. He yelled sexual comments and grabbed his crotch over his clothing. The suspect is described as a black man with a light complexion, early 20’s, over 6’ tall, slender, wearing a blue jacket with white sleeves, and blue sweatpants with a white string. (GO#15-174444)

At approximately 1:50 p.m., a man approached a woman who was walking on Victoria Road near Lucknow Street. The man pulled up his jacket and appeared to have exposed himself. The woman went into a nearby grocery store for approximately 20 minutes. When she left the store, she saw the same man on Victoria Road and he appeared to be grabbing himself. The suspect is described as a black man with a light complexion, in his twenties and wearing a blue ski jacket with the hood up. (GO #15-171950)

At approximately 2 p.m., a man approached a woman who was walking on Fenwick Street near Morris Street. He touched her in a sexual manner over her clothing and grabbed her by the arm. The woman kept walking and called police when she arrived home. The suspect is described as a black man with a light complexion or an Aboriginal man, early twenties, 6' and very skinny. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey toque rolled up at the forehead, a blue bomber style jacket zipped up all the way and light-coloured pants that appeared to be very dirty. He also had a black backpack on his back and was possibly wearing glasses. (GO #15-171945)

Between 2 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., a man exposed himself to a woman who was walking on Fenwick Street. The woman reported the matter to police at approximately 3 p.m. The suspect is described as approximately 5’9”, slimmer build, wearing dark sweat pants and a jacket with the hood up. (GO #15-171980)

At approximately 2:15 p.m., a man approached a woman who was walking on Fenwick Street and stopped directly in front of her. He dropped his pants and exposed himself. The woman walked past the man and he followed her. She went to her nearby apartment and closed the door. The suspect is described an Aboriginal man, 6’, skinny, wearing a blue jacket, grey sweat pants and reading glasses. He also had a black backpack. (GO #15-171979)
