Police request public assistance – hit and run vehicle

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance to identify the driver involved in a hit and run collision in Halifax last week.

On February 21, at 10 p.m., officers responded to the 2300 block of Maynard Street for a hit-and-run collision. A minivan travelling on Maynard Street entered the parking lot of a business and collided with an unoccupied parked vehicle. The minivan quickly exited the parking lot by driving over the curb and was last seen heading north on Maynard Street. The vehicle is described as a white minivan with a cab light on the roof and damage to the passenger side front fender.

Halifax Regional Police are asking the driver or anyone with information about this incident to contact police at 490-5016.
