Police Request Public’s Assistance

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a collision that occurred in Dartmouth on December 8, 2013.

At 1:15 p.m., a man driving a pickup truck hit an unoccupied parked car in the parking lot of Mic Mac Mall. Witnesses stopped the truck and informed the driver that he had hit another vehicle. Before leaving the area, the driver left a note on the windshield of the hit vehicle which read “call me” but did not provide any contact information. The owner of the hit vehicle contacted police when she saw the damage to her car.    

Police are releasing pictures of the truck and ask for the public’s help identifying the driver. The make and model of the truck are not known but it is described as a large white pickup truck with a sunroof. The driver was described as a white man in his sixties. At the time of the incident, an older white woman was in the passenger seat.  

Anyone with information about this man’s identity or this incident is asked to contact police at 490-5016.
