Update - September 11, 2015 (9:10 p.m.)

Earlier this evening, HRP positively identified two of the women from photos released yesterday in connection with suspicious circumstances at Mic Mac Mall on August 10. A relative of each of the women contacted police and provided officers with the required information to allow them to continue the investigation. We thank the public and the media for their assistance in relation to this matter, and ask that the media discontinue use of the photo of the woman in jean shorts, and a checked shirt over a white top as well as the woman in the white shorts and navy shirt.

Officers are continuing to try to identify the woman in the attached photo. She, like the other two women, is not a suspect or person of interest.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying three women in connection with an on-going investigation.

At 8:25 p.m. on August 10, police responded to Mic Mac Mall in relation to suspicious circumstances inside the mall. As part of the on-going investigation, police seized video from the mall and are releasing still images from the video in an attempt to identify three women who were at the mall between approximately 7:15 and 8:30 p.m. that day. The women are not persons of interests or suspects. Their faces, and the faces of those they were with inside the mall, have been obscured for their privacy.

Officers are asking these women or anyone who can identify them to call 902-490-5016. They are asked to provide incident number 15-112301 to the call taker.
