Police Request Public’s Assistance - Theft of Laptop

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a shoplifting incident that occurred in September in Halifax.

 On September 25, a man entered the Best Buy store in Bayers Lake Industrial Park and took an Apple Macbook Pro before leaving the store without paying for it. The value of the stolen merchandise is over $2,600. 

 Police are releasing pictures of the suspect and asking for the public’s help to identify him. He is described as a white man in his twenties, slim build, short brown hair, with a brown beard and moustache. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black jacket, black ball hat and dark pants.  

 Anyone with information about this man’s identity or this incident is asked to contact police at 490-5016.
