At 6:45 pm Nicholas Rhyno turned himself in to police custody. Police have not yet located Terrance Priest and are still actively looking for him.

Police Requesting Public’s Assistance

Officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated High Risk Enforcement Action Team (HEAT) are requesting the public’s assistance in locating two men with parole warrants.

On Saturday, June 16, 2012, 25-year-old Nicholas Roland Rhyno and 27-year-old Terrance Alexander Priest failed to return to their respective half-way homes and a parole warrant for each of them was issued. Rhyno has been charged with violent offences involving a firearm and Priest has also been charged with violent offences. The men know each other and may be together. Rhyno is a white male, 5’6”, 141 lbs with green eyes and brown hair. Priest is an aboriginal male, 5’8, 190 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair.

Both men should be considered armed and dangerous and members of the public should not approach them or try to take matters into their own hands. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police at 490-5016 or their local police department.
