Police seek public assistance to find robbery suspect 

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate a robbery that occurred last month in Halifax.

At approximately 7:18 p.m. on November 11, officers responded to a report of a robbery at TJ’s Grocery located at 290 Main Ave. A man entered the store wearing a black mask, immediately approached the counter area and demanded cash and cigarettes while threatening the employee with a knife. The suspect left the store on foot after receiving a quantity of cigarettes and cash. Responding officers assisted by K9 searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The employee was not injured. 

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’9” to 6’ tall, wearing a black mask, a gray sweater with gray hood and a black vest overtop and Jeans. He was carrying an over the shoulder duffle bag.
