Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a property damage incident at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Halifax earlier this week.
On December 8, police received a call in relation to a significant number of headstones having been knocked over and some destroyed sometime overnight between 7 p.m. on December 7 and 9:45 a.m. on December 8. Police are taking this very seriously in light of the disrespectful nature of the incident and given the cemetery’s historic significance to our community.
