The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists beginning tomorrow morning there will be a non-rush hour outbound lane drop on Quinpool Road for the next several months in the vicinity of MacDonald Street and Armview Avenue.
The inside lane (heading toward the Armdale Rotary) will be out of commission to vehicles Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Traffic controls will be in place to guide motorists around the work area. Pedestrians may be directed to the opposite side of the road at marked crosswalks.
The lane drop is necessary to facilitate Halifax Water preparatory work for a new utilities bridge in the area.
There will be no impact on inbound Quinpool Road traffic.
