A vehicle stolen during a break and enter/robbery on Acadia Street this past weekend has been recovered.
Yesterday at 2:10 p.m., officers recovered the stolen motor vehicle in the 6900 block of Ward Avenue in Halifax. The suspects have not been located and the incident remains under investigation.
On April 12, at 2:23 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 3600 block of Acadia Street in Halifax for a break and enter. Officers learned the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. when three black men wearing masks entered the residence after kicking the door in. One suspect produced a firearm and one had a knife. The suspect with the gun held the residents in one room while the other two men went through the house. They took several pieces of electronics and then fled in the homeowner’s car. There were no injuries reported and the file remains under investigation. This is not believed to be a random incident.
