Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising motorists that a block of Granville Street in Halifax will be closed to traffic this weekend for the installation of stormwater and sewer pipes for a nearby private development.
Granville will shut down between Prince and Sackville streets starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, and will remain closed until about 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23.
There will be no on-street parking on Granville during that time; however, crews will accommodate access to the parking garage and lots in the area and pedestrians will still be able to use the sidewalk along Granville.
Motorists are advised to find alternative routes while this closure is in place. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this closure may cause.
