Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that on Thursday, Aug. 21, crews will be doing asphalt patching on the Bedford Highway between Southgate Drive and Hammonds Plains Road.
Crews will be on site starting at 9 a.m. and will continue working until about 4 p.m. Traffic control measures will be in place while this work is going on. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes, if possible.
This patching work will help address potholes in the area. Crews are making good progress grinding out and repaving these problem areas, and will continue working into the fall to repair potholes throughout the region.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
