Robbery GO# 14-52415

On April 16 at 7:25 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery call at Sobeys on Windsor Street in Halifax. A man approached one of the cashiers and handed her a note stating that he had a weapon and demanded money. The cashier turned over a quantity of cash and the suspect left the store. No weapon was seen and no one was injured during the incident. Officers from patrol division, K-9 and the Integrated RCMP/HRP General Investigation Section were on scene to conduct the investigation. 

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 30 years of age, 6 feet in height and weighing about 225 lbs. He was wearing a blue jacket, blue winter hat and sunglasses.
