Last night at 9:25 p.m., Halifax Regional Police patrol members responded to a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Prince Albert Road in Dartmouth. When officers arrived they learned that four black men had forced their way into the residence armed with a large knife and a firearm. The men rummaged through the residence and before fleeing on foot, fired a shot into the ceiling. No one was injured in this incident.
The investigation is being conducted by members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division. Suspects are described as four black men wearing hoods and face masks. Officers are looking to speak with anyone who may have any knowledge of this incident and ask that they contact Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
