On January 5 at approximately 9:25 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to Mobile Gas at 1145 Barrington Street, Halifax for a robbery that had just occurred. The suspect handed the clerk a note stating he had a gun and demanded money. No gun was seen and there were no injuries reported. The suspect is described to police as white man with a slim build, between 50-60 years-old, wearing a scarf or face warmer that partially covered his face and a red jacket. The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
