At 10:50 p.m. last night, Halifax Regional Police patrol members responded to a complaint of a robbery at the Ultramar gas station located at 219 Pleasant Street in Dartmouth. A staff member reported to police that a man, armed with a knife, had robbed the store and fled northbound on foot with a quantity of cigarettes and money. Halifax Regional Police patrol members, assisted by a K-9 unit searched the area, however, were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a white man in his twenties, approximately 5’8”, with a blond beard and had been carrying a black back pack with red piping. The matter will be investigated by the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division. Officers are looking to speak with anyone who may have any knowledge of this incident and ask that they contact Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020.
