At approximately 9:39 p.m. on January 10, Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at Irving located at 2499 Robie Street in Halifax. A male entered the business and passed the employee a note that stated, 'this is a robbery'. The employee turned over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect fled on foot. There was no weapon seen, and there were no injuries. Suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’10”, medium build, with a handkerchief covering his face and wearing jeans and a sweater.
