Robie Street - Natural Gas Pipeline Installation

Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that work continues to extend the natural gas main on Robie Street, between Cherry Street and Binney Street.

Beginning tomorrow, Sept. 9, and continuing until end of day Friday, Sept. 11, work at the intersection of Robie Street, Jubilee Road and Veterans Memorial Lane will require some turn restrictions as follows:

-Motorists leaving Jubilee Road and Veterans Memorial Lane will only be able to turn right onto Robie Street.  -Motorists travelling on Robie Street will not be able to make left turns in this intersection.   At least two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times. No work will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.  Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.

Heritage Gas and the municipality apologize in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause.
