Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that crews will begin working on Robie Street in Halifax on Thursday, Nov. 12, as part of a natural gas pipeline installation that’s expected to take up to five weeks to complete.
This work will take place from 9 a.m. until about 4 p.m. on weekdays only between Pepperrell Street and Coburg Road. Crews will maintain two-way traffic during that time; however, the left turning lanes on that section of Robie Street may need to be closed periodically, depending on the work underway.
Motorists should expect some delays in the area and are advised to find alternative routes, if possible. The municipality and Heritage Gas regret any inconvenience this work or the lane closures may cause.
